As per tradition, also for 2023 the third edition of the VIVALDI FESTIVAL will be inaugurated on June 21, on the day of the Summer Solstice, with the performance of The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi, one of the most performed compositions in the world. And certainly listening to Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons performed by top-quality musicians and exceptional violinists, moreover, at the Pietà Church in Venice, a symbol of Vivaldi par excellence, is certainly a unique opportunity more how rare.
The VIVALDI FESTIVAL, born in 2021 on the occasion of the 1600th anniversary of the foundation of the city of Venice, is promoted by the Ministry of Culture, with the patronage of the Region of Veneto and of the Municipality of Venice, included in the calendar of Festive Cities, in partnership with major Venetian institutions including the Istituto Italiano Antonio Vivaldi , the Vivaldi Academy and the Cini Foundation, Rai and the portal www.musicalia.tv.
